Crystal Quest Mega Undersink Replaceable Single Nitrate Multi PLUS Water Filter System is stylish, convenient and effective. Water travels through 6 stages of filtration. Contains a special nitrate-selective resin. Nitrate reduction is 90% to 95% and breakthrough is not affected by sulfate levels. The capacity is 3000 ppm of nitrates as CaCO3. To determine capacity, first calculate the ppm of nitrates as CaCO3, then divide that number into 3000 to get the gallons. This cartridge can be regenerated using sodium chloride brine. It also contains 2-one micron filter pads, ERA-6500, ERA-9500 and coconut shell GAC. Easy to use and install on all standard sinks. Please note: When considering installation, if current under sink plumbing is hard copper tubing the saddle valve would be used; for flex tubing the T-valve would be required. Saddle valve is sent with order unless T-valve is specified in comment section of order entry screen. Min Operating pressure: 20 psi (pounds per sq. in.). Max Operating pressure: 60 psi (pounds per sq. in.). Min Operating temperature: 40 degrees F. Max Operating temperature: 90 degrees F. Max Flow rate: 0.3-0.5 gallons per minute.
